Sparkle Dental Boutique’s Manager, Kavita Verma has been appointed as one of the BDA’s Good Practice Schemes Regional Consultants. Kavita has been selected as one of ten consultants based throughout the UK to offer extra support to dental practices working towards membership of the BDA Good Practice Scheme 

Kavita says `I have helped Sparkle Dental Boutique become a multi award winning practice and I am looking forward to using my dental management experience and understanding of the Good Practice Scheme to help support practices in my area”.

The Good Practice Scheme is a scheme for practices committed to providing a standard of good practice to their patients. The standards are based on legal requirements and nationally accepted good practice. Sparkle Dental Boutique, Hanwell achieved the standard in 2003 and has been re-recognised since.  As a member of the scheme, team Sparkle are committed to:

  • providing a quality service
  • meeting patients’ needs
  • making sure each patient’s treatment is as comfortable and convenient as possible
  • looking after patients general health and safety while receiving dental care
  • following the BDA’s guidelines on infection control
  • checking for mouth cancer
  • taking part in continual professional development
  • training of staff in work systems and review training plans once a year
  • welcoming feedback and dealing promptly with any complaints
